Oh, man. Wish I had more $ & the machine was working.
Top 3 memories re: Liberty fabric
1) when Liberty was finally available in the States & mother made me great blouse....wore it to various interviews, elsewhere. With jeans or skirts. Everyone, everyone asked me: what is that, it's beautiful. Distracted them & they hired or asked me out (one at same time. No, I turned him down, if you ask)
2) digging in the remnants section in the London store...bringing back treasures for people-who-care
3) wear my grandfather's Liberty scarf from WWII London...
...& now off to continue writing about that.

Oh, geez. First it is the most divine soapmaking lady EVER having a sale for a soap I NEED (if you ever need to die for soap, look up Dreamseeds), and now this. And I have not a bean to spend. Torture!!!
