Si vous avez mauvais goût, je le partage ;-)) Hâte de voir le résultat. / I'm definitely sharing that 'terrible taste' of yours and can't wait to see the old Klippan 'redesigned'...

I loved the happiness and fun that emanated from the room and furniture as a result of the wild marker abandon. What a happy house it must be - can't wait to see your pics.

Today is my birthday and you are cordially invited to my party down by the river. Wear loose fitting clothes and don't drive due to the excessive amounts of food and champagne that is on offer.

I hadn't realized it was done by children until I read it. My initial thought was "the colors contrast yet complement the style of the sofa and armchair so well", I thought it was the original fabric and loved it! SO if you have bad taste, so do I. My suggestion to guarantee you will like the result would be to choose the colors you are going to give them to use so it fits the overall color scheme in your head..

It says a FAMILY lives here and we are not ashamed to live with our kids. I grew up in a museum, there were rooms my feet never touched the floor, it was painful. I am going to draw on the furniture today.

Your artist-control-freak friend has a suggestion: before you let the kids go wild on the sofa go thru the markers first, get rid of the colors you hate (I don't know, maybe brown? bottle green?)and keep the ones that are beautiful together. I would even double the amount of pink and orange markers if these are your favorite colors. If it was my 10 year old he would probably draw EVERYTHING in black with war scenes and skulls, so you might not want to invite him for that.(hmm is there something wrong with that boy?).
Good Luck.

such whimsy! love this. can't wait to see pics. (nadia's idea to double the orange and pink markers is a good one.) what fun to have a chair or a table on hand for doodling whenever guests come over.

Oh, cool, I want pics, too! I had no problems with it, and I still have no problems with it. Even the money part. Heck. People recover furniture ALL the time. Why are people all hot and bothered by the fact that eventually this one will need covering, too?? Seriously, the joy in that house FAR outweighs the fact that there is a bit of money, too. Who the heck cares if someone else has a bit of money, and chooses to spend it in a way you, yourself, wouldn't choose, which isn't actually harming a damn thing in the world??

My gosh! I don't know to react. I don't know if I am idealistic about it but considering the price of this sofa. I find alternative for this. i can give her a wood if she wants, too.
